Moon
A poem on the Effulgent Beauty

look up to the moon
for she provides
a place of escape
from the chaos in the world
she stands there
high up in the sky
with an aura so bright
that the ocean held up a mirror
the moon dust so pristine
that it delights the dolphins
as they dance in her light
with a splash of cheekiness
she looks upon us
for she knows stories
that nobody knows
and look upon her
for her warm light
illuminates the darkness
and gently sets the path to dawn
